This stellar Imperial Stout 10 months rum barrel aged 330ml is brewed by the artisanal microbrewery Sknipa. It is a dark beer, unpasteurized and unfiltered with a high alkaline degree. With its slow maturation for 10 months in Martinique Rum barrels, it manages to exchange aromas and flavours.
It is produced with a large amount of different roasted malts, both wheat and barley, and a moderate amount of hops and yeast, without the addition of sugar.
It is characterized by its malty character with aromas of espresso, dark chocolate, and vanilla as well as dark fruits and rum on the nose. Full-bodied, creamy and soft in the mouth with a long aftertaste.
This beer will develop a more complex and well-rounded flavour as it ages so it is also recommended that you let mature further. You will be highly rewarded.
