This breathtaking Imperial Stout 10 months wine barrel aged 330ml is brewed by the artisanal microbrewery Sknipa. It is a dark beer, unpasteurized and unfiltered with a high alkaline degree. With its slow maturation for 10 months in oak barrels where the sour black wine of Apostolis Thymiopoulos has matured, it is enhanced in aromas and flavours.
It is produced with a large amount of different roasted malts, both wheat and barley and a moderate amount of hops and yeast, without the addition of sugar.
It is characterized by its bittersweet malty character with aromas of vanilla, ripe red fruits and dark chocolate. A full-bodied beer, creamy and smooth in the mouth, with a long aftertaste.
This beer will develop a more complex and well-rounded flavour as it ages so it is also recommended that you let mature further. You will be highly rewarded.
