Retsina rose wine 750ml from Sigma Gourmet, resinated wine, traditionally made in Greece for 2000 years. Retsina rose is produced at Mesogia, vineyards of East Attica and is a unique wine of Traditional Appellation of Origin. Its unique flavour has been originated from the practice of sealing wine vessels, particularly amphorae, with pine resin in ancient times. This monovarietal, resinated rose dry wine produced from hand-harvested Mandilaria grapes, has a deep pink colour with a rich taste and is ideal to accompany Greek traditional gastronomy and seafood. 13.5% ABV. Vintage 2018. Best served at 10° – 12°C.
