Samos Vin Doux is a Sweet White Wine from Samos Wines. Made from White Muscat in Samos island’s mountainous terraces, with the strong sunshine and the salty Aegean wind.
Samos Vin Doux has a light golden colour, with aromas of apricot jam and mature melon which elevates the character of Muscat grape. A fruity taste with summer fruits and hints of butterscotch candy and flowers.
It perfectly accompanies light creamy sweets that, such as apple pie, lemon pie, and fruit tarts but also creamy desserts with full-bodied taste.
It is also served as an aperitif or can accompany fruit salads especially melon, cheeses and nuts boards.
It can be used in confectionery to create tasty syrups that give a different twist to sweet creations. In cooking, it aromatically complements and “ties together” sweet and sour sauces. It also discreetly sweetens poultry, Asian or Italian recipes and other inspired dishes. It is the ideal closing of a meal or dinner, while its rich body can be a great base for making special Cocktails in unlimited combinations.
