A varietal dry white wine, made with Greek local varieties Vidiano 85%, Aidani 15% produced by Mega Spileo Winery. The two grape varieties blend and grow together in the Aigialeia mountainous vineyard, at an altitude of above850-900 metres. The grapes are harvested in the last 10 days of September and the fermentation is done with selected yeasts at low temperatures, with the blend ageing in stainless steel tanks and in oak barrels with its fine lees for 2 months.
Vidiano & Aidani is a dry wine with straw yellow colour. On the nose it has notes of stone fruits and tropical fruits with hints of minerality.On the palate is refined, with pronounced acidity and a fruity after-taste.
Ideally served with fish, seafood, white meats with white sauces.

Mega Spileo means Large Cave, and it took its name from its location near Kalavryta in Peloponnese, where there is a large cave and a Monastery, the second oldest continuously occupied religious place in the world. The vineyard belonged to the Monastery, where the monks making wine since the 15th century until it was completely abandoned in the beginning of the 20th century when the current owners took over and revitalised this historic vineyard.
