Lion D’or – Xrysos Leon Chardonnay White wine 750ml Nico Lazaridi

The Lion D’or – Golden Lion Chardonnay White wine 750ml, in Greek the wine is called Xrysos Leon ‘Χρυσός Λέων’ and the name highlights the greatness but nobility of the product. Produced by 100% Chardonnay of the vineyards located near the Mackedon Winery at Platanotopos, Kavala, North Greece. This is  marked as a PGI wine of Pangeon Appellation.

The fermentation is done in low temperatures following the classic white wine method. The wine has a pale yellow colour, balanced body , intense aromas, pleasant acidity and a fruity aftertaste.

Intense and fresh fruity aromas of banana, green apple and pear.

Perfect Pairing:

colorful salads, seafood, risotto and Greek traditional pies.
