The assyrtiko grape variety is arguably one of the more well-known Greek white wine grapes.

The Moderne Allegorie wine makes for a light-bodied colour. A refreshingly crisp wine with flavours of citrus fruits, tropical notes, saline, and noticeable minerality.

Assyrtiko’s acidity makes it an ideal match for seafood such as oysters, shellfish or fish. Greek-inspired dishes such as grilled or fried haloumi would be idea too.
