Mystic Brut Spakling white wine, by Mega Spileo Winery, is a unique blend of 2 Greek secret varieties and their successive vintages 2020, 2021, and 2022 which has created this explosive result of elegance and freshness. The grapes grow in mountainous vineyards of Aigialeia.
The base wine contains all vintages from both varieties from 2020 onwards, and the during the second fermentation the wine remains with its fine lees, in small tanks regularly stirred for 6 months, and finally the blend matures within the bottle for at least 6 years.
Mystic Brut Spakling white wine light straw yellow colour. On the nose it’ s fruity and botanical with notes of yeast. On the palate it’s refreshing with crisp balance and a long finish.
Ideally served with grilled seafood, smoked salmon, salty yellow cheese or is served as an aperitif.

Mega Spileo means Large Cave, and it took its name from its location near Kalavryta in Peloponnese, where there is a large cave and a Monastery, the second oldest continuously occupied religious place in the world. The vineyard belonged to the Monastery, where the monks making wine since the 15th century until it was completely abandoned in the beginning of the 20th century when the current owners took over and revitalised this historic vineyard.
