Rapsani Red Wine 750ml Liapis

Rapsani Red Dry Wine 750ml (2020) produced by Liapis Winery in dedicated vineyards at Mount Olympus. This is a unique wine produced by the co-fermented blend of PDO varieties Xinomavro, Krassato, and Stavroto grapes.

The blend ferments with indigenous yeasts and matures for 12 months in old oak barrels and it is bottled unfiltered.

Rapsani has a ruby color, with a nose of a typical Xinomavro giving aromas of tomato, olive, cherry, sour cherry, strawberry, eucalyptus, rosemary and tea, combined with aromas of cranberry, nutmeg, plum, cedar, tobacco and black cocoa. On the palate it has medium body, high acidity, and rich but juicy tannins, and long aftertaste.

Ideal to serve with pizzas, charcuterrie and grilled sausages, strong flavoured cheeses, and spicy pastas.

Vintage 2020. ABV 13%. Best served at 16-18°C.
