Atelier dry white wine is a unique blend of local variety Lagorthi 45% and central- European variety Riesling 55% from grapes growing in mountainous vineyards of Aigialia, Peloponnese, altitude 750 – 900m, marking the wine as PGI Achaia. The wine is a result of co-vinification of the two varieties and the fermentation is made at low temperatures with selected yeasts. The wine matures for 2 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
Atelier white has intense aromas of exotic fruits with mild minerality with dominating features of the Riesling variety in mild Mediterranean terroir. On the palate is delicately acid, with volume coming from Lagorthi variety and after-test of fresh tropical fruits.
Ideally served with salads, fresh white cheese, seafood and white meat with white sauce.
