CAVALIERI Assyrtiko White Wine from Nico Lazaridi showcases the Greek white grape variety, Assyrtiko, sourced from low-yield vineyards. Crafted with precision, a portion of the wine undergoes aging for six months in oak barrels to enhance complexity. The CAVALIERI series emphasizes single-varietal wines, bringing out each grape’s unique traits. The name “CAVALIERI” honours Nico, Marga, and Federico Lazaridis, who were recognized with the honorary title by the Italian Republic for their contributions to the wine world.
Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures between 12 and 17°C in stainless steel tanks. A portion of the Assyrtiko completes its fermentation in oak barrels and matures for 6 months, undergoing battonage. Vintage 2023.
