The Black Sheep – Mavro Provato White wine 750ml Nico Lazaridi

The Black Sheep – Mavro Provato ‘Μαύρο Πρόβατο’ White wine 750ml from Nico Lazaridi an eccentric name for a product that stresses out its diversity and particularity of the wine. Made of a unique blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Semillon, 20% Vidiano, this dry white wine is marked as PGI of Pangeon Appellation, with the vineyards located in Kavala, Northern Greece.

The wine has a pale yellow color, pleasant acidity, medium body with the flavours following the aromas of the nose and a pleasant aftertaste. Vinification done  at low temperature in order to maximise the extraction of primary aroma and aged for a short period with the fine lees. Vintage 2023.

Tasting Notes:

Aromas of lime, lychee, grapefruit, peach, nectarine, with some notes of grass.

Perfect Pairing:

seafood salads, lean white meat and pasta with light sauces.

ABV: 12.5%
