The Black Sheep – Mavro Provato Red wine 750ml Nico Lazaridi

The Black Sheep – Mavro Provato ‘Μαύρο Πρόβατο’ Red wine 750ml from Nico Lazaridi an eccentric name for a product that highlights  out its diversity and particularity. The Black Sheep is a fine blend of international varieties 60% Syrah and 40% Merlot.

This is a PGI wine of Pangeon Appellation, produced at the Mackedon Winery and vineyards at Platanotopos, Kavala, North Greece. The wine matures for 4-6 months in stainless tanks with oak chips. Mavro Provato is a dry red wine, with vivid ruby colour and purple highlights. Vintage 2022.

Tasting Notes:

Intense aromas of mature red fruits, plum and hints of pepper. Velvet mouth with soft tannins and aromatic, fruity aftertaste.

Red meat, spicy cheese and refreshing green salads.

Served at 16-18°C
